“Dismayland“, de l’artiste Jeff Gillette, est une juxtaposition des univers complètement opposés de l’art, des favelas et de DisneyLand. Mélangeant des personnages comme Minnie, Daisy ou encore les souris de Cendrillon avec des éléments d’artistes comme Takashi Murakami ou Roy Lichtenstein, le tout dans un univers entre favelas et post-apocalypse.

Whar are those kids doing spending money on movies when they should be spending it on food or clothes. Ie. How would any impoverished child or person for that matter even know what a Disney charachter is or what one may look like? If they have TV and movies, then what are the priorities for getting out of the slum?
