I invite you to discover an overview of the 14th Biennale of Lyon, which this year is entitled Les Mondes Flottants, and which leads us into a journey between wandering and dream, to explore physical, metaphysical and political mobility. Second edition of a trilogy around the word modern, this new Biennale between modern and contemporary was thought by Emma Lavigne, the curator invited by the artistic director Thierry Raspail.
The Biennale de Lyon 2017 will be held from 20 September 2017 to 7 January 2018 at La Sucrière and MAC Lyon, as well as in the Buckminster-Fuller dome, which is installed in Antonin Poncet Square. But this Biennale also opens up in many places in Lyon and its region, such as the IAC Villeurbanne for young French and international creation, the Couvent de La Tourette with artworks by Lee Ufan, and the Bullukian Foundation and its exhibition around the work of Lee Mingwei. It is a total of 3 platforms and more than 150 places in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region that invite you to dive into The Floating Worlds.
You will find here a selection of the artworks of the Biennale of Lyon 2017 that touched, marked or challenged me, and I strongly invite you to discover the different exhibitions with your own eyes. All the information on the website of the 14ème Biennale de Lyon.
