Body Holes – When the orifices of the human body become art galleries

2016-08-01 // art

Body Holes is an amazing project aiming to use the human body as an art gallery. Its orifices, mouth, nose, ears, navel, anus, vagina and urethral meatus, become miniature and organic exhibition places. This project was designed by the artist duo New Scenario, as a way to escape the traditional walls of art galleries, exhibiting artworks of artists like Yves Scherer, Rachel De Joode, Blunt Skensved or Viktor Fordell. Created for the Berlin Biennale, the Body Holes project is only visible online due to the nature of the exhibition venues.
