A huge sperm whale washed up in Rennes

2016-07-04 // art unusual

This weekend, the inhabitants of Rennes were surprised to discover a huge sperm whale washed up in the city, on the banks of the Vilaine! While some medias have been tricked by relaying this information, it was in fact a new performance of the Belgian art collective Captain Boomer, conducted as part of the festival Les Tombées de la Nuit. Two years ago, we already talked about this collective when they installed their sperm whale in the heart of London.
