For his Invasions series, French artist Charles Pétillon has just installed 100,000 white balloons in the covered market of Covent Garden, London, creating a poetic and surreal cloud! This creation entitled Heartbeat consists of a gigantic balloon structure measuring 54 meters long, suspended in the metal and glass building. An amazing and beautiful installation symbolizing the fragility, but also the overflowing life of this famous area of London. Below, some images of other creations of his Invasions series.
