The stunning series Of Genuine Contemporary Beast by Mexican artist Renato Garza Cervera, who transforms into skin rugs the tattooed gangsters from MS-13 and MS-18, the infamous gang Mara Salvatrucha, involved in criminal activities around the world. A reflection on the mass mediatization and urban legends surrounding these gangs, and on how our societies create their own necessary monsters to canalize our fears and our problems.
