Cross-stitching colorful creations directly on vintage metal objects

I highly recommend you the work of Lithuanian artist Severija Incirauskaite-Kriauneviciene, using old metal objects as support for her creations made of embroidery and cross-stitch. Old army helmets, kitchen utensils or even car hoods, the creations of Severija provide a striking contrast between the cold and solid metal, often charged with history, and fragile and organic elements as her delicate and colorful flowers.
