Ants everywhere – The disturbing tableware of Evelyn Bracklow

2017-05-12 // art design

With her white dishes invaded by hundreds of ants, reminding your worst memories about picnic, the German artist Evelyn Bracklow brings a touch of apocalypse and decadence in the world of bourgeois dinner. By breaking the cleanliness of this tableware with her realistic ants, hand-painted one by one, Evelyn Braklow provokes a disturbing but highly symbolic feeling. A beautiful and meticulous work.
