It’s Not Milk – The strange and dripping portraits of Ivan Alifan

2015-11-13 // art

With a quirky, trashy and ironic title, the series It’s Not Milk offers us dripping and oozing portraits, exploring sexuality and eroticism with a modern gaze. Some large format oil paintings created by Russian artist Ivan Alifan, who uses ambiguity to generate curiosity, fascination and disgust. A series of paintings in line with the dripping portraits of Mike Dargas. And if you like it when it drips a lot, I also recommend you the Preservation project by photographer Blake Little.
