The Recursive Search by Image Experiment

The Dutch artist Sebastian Schmieg conducted an interesting experiment based on the Google image search engine from an image. Using as a starting image a transparent PNG image of 400 × 225px, it recursively search for images using a script. The principle is that each search selects the first image that is not the same as starting in search results, and then used as starting for a new search. An interesting experiment whose outcome is quite hypnotic!
