Log paintings – An artist paints lovely country and forest scenes on wood logs

2015-10-28 // art design

For her project between art and design, simply entitled Log paintings, the Hawaiian artist Alison Moritsugu wanted to pay tribute to forests and countryside, dramatically threatened by the destructive effects of industrialization. A beautiful and amazing series of paintings created directly on the slices of wood logs, of course recovered from trees fallen naturally, as a result of a storm for example.
