Perceptual Shift – The suspended anamorphosis of Michael Murphy

2015-06-17 // art

A selection of the impressive suspended sculptures by American artist Michael Murphy, based in Brooklyn, who uses hundreds of suspended elements to create a final image visible from a single point of view. His latest creation, Perceptual Shift, is composed of 1200 black spheres, forming a perfectly shaped eye if you place yourself in the right place. It is currently visible at the I.M.A.G.E. gallery in Brooklyn.
