New Spring – This beautiful installation emits bubbles with a sweet cherry scent

A tree that emits bubbles of water, releasing a scented vapor when bursting, it’s the amazing concept of New Spring, a beautiful installation created by the Japanese designer Azusa Murakami and the British designer Alexander Groves. With this stylized tree, the two designers pay tribute to the Japanese Hanami ritual, symbolizing the blossoming sakura but also the ephemeral nature of beauty.

This installation with a sweet smell of Japanese cherry trees was presented this year at the Milan Design Week, before being installed now in Miami in The Temple House, thanks to a collaboration between COS and Swine studio. An amazing immersive and sensory installation!
