The Shed Project – An illustrator is drawing all the tools owned by his late grandfather

2015-07-10 // art illustration

To honor his deceased grandfather, illustrator Lee John Phillips decided to draw all the tools that belonged to him, like the hammer or pliers, but also the thousands of nails, screws, nuts, strings, springs or other, filling his sketchbooks with detailed and realistic illustrations in black and white. With over 100,000 pieces, The Shed Project represents a titanic work, which the artist considers to finish in 5 years.
