The Water Tank Project – Street Art on the New York’s rooftops
“The Water Tank Project” is a project created by the association Word Above the Street to raise awareness of the City of New York to the problem and the scarcity of drinking water. The project aims to cover 300 water towers and water tanks from the rooftops of New York by artists such as Ed Ruscha, Tim Maguire, Tony Oursler or Mark Sheinkman.
