Touch the paint – Helping visually impaired with embossed paintings

2015-06-02 // art unusual

With the Touching The Prado exhibition, the famous Madrid museum offers to help the visually impaired and blind people to discover masterpieces of painting through touch thanks to embossed paintings, using a technique that allows to reproduce the art of Leonardo da Vinci, Francisco de Goya or El Greco in three dimensions. A beautiful initiative.
