Research teams from IBM, bent over the atoms to experiment the future processes of data storing, had created “A Boy And His Atom“, which is none other than the smallest stop motion film in the world! A short film at the atomic scale created with molecules of carbon monoxide and filmed through a scanning tunneling microscope magnifying 100 million times! Of course the animation is a little rough, which has not prevented “A Boy And His Atom” to get his title from the Guinness World Records.
