Raptor Series – A designer creates scientifically accurate dinosaur toys

If it’s known for several years that dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus or Velociraptors were not looking at all like what we thought, and were even wearing feathers, the collective imagination is pretty tough especially because of the many representations that we know starting with the ones from the Jurassic Park movies for example. To counter this, the designer David Silva, an art toys and action figures specialist, decided to create Beasts of the Mesozoic, some scientifically accurate dinosaur toys, with a first series dedicated to the Raptors. Well, this is what truly looked like the Velociraptor Mongoliensis, the Atrociraptor Mashalli and the Tsaagan mangas! These dinosaur figurines are currently being funded on Kickstarter.
