The “Earthquake-Ready Desk” is a ultra-strong table designed specifically for earthquakes in order to become a shelter. Most children from risk areas learn to take refuge under the tables in case of earthquakes, but the protection is minimal. This “Earthquake-Ready Desk” is designed to support up to 1 ton and can create open areas for emergency help.
