I present the “Iter Auto” and the “Plus Fours Routefinder“, two early car navigation systems from the 1920s / 1930s! Electronics, GPS, 3G and touch screens were not really relevant at this time, so you had to choose your route in advance, and insert the appropriate cartridge into the drive of “Iter Auto” or the portable version for biker in the bracelet of the “Plus Fours Routefinder“. Then you had to scroll through the maps to identify and monitor your position and route… If you had to manually turn a knob on the “Plus Fours Routefinder” to find your position, “Iter Auto” was plugged directly into the cable of the speedometer for an automatically map scrolling! You can’t stop progress… The early high-tech gadgets!
