Oculus Rift – The return of virtual reality?
Virtual reality is a great mystery to me… How an idea as great could fall into oblivion? Simply because of the lack of viable technology that made it expensive and unreliable in the 80s / 90s… But today, with the advent of 3D, mini-screens and high-precision accelerometers, virtual reality, or VR, could make his return to the general public this time! Indeed, “Oculus Rift” is a kickstarter project which looks very good start as a prototype has already been presented at E3 and it impress a lot of people… “Oculus Rift” has a stereoscopic 3D display and multiple sensors that detect the position of your head. It will be possible with the “Oculus Rift” to play with most FPS games and first person games, directly moving your head! We wait eagerly for this gadget…
