[REVIEW] BoomChair Stingray – The Gamer’s chair with speakers

Today we review the BoomChair Stingray, a special chair for gamers with built-in speakers compatible with iPods and mp3 players, Xbox, PC, Mac, PS3, Wii and so on!

Once unpacked, the BoomChair Stingray, unfolds quickly and remains in position by a strong scratch to maintain the chair. The chair goes directly on the ground, and has a slightly rounded base that allows you to quickly turn and tilt the seat in the most comfortable position. First impression: the seat seems very solid and sitting inside is very comfortable, neither too hard nor too soft. Perfect for hours of gaming!

The BoomChair Stingray has two speakers built directly on the side of the seat, and without being stunning, the sound is pretty good and quite powerful. Having the speakers positioned at the seat is nice because you feel ambient sounds and music pretty nice, without the inconvenience of headphones. The seat has a stereo RCA input and it comes with a stereo RCA connection, a 3.5 mm jack to RCA cable and a stereo RCA to RCA cable, which allows to connect the seat with mp3 player and iPod, Xbox, PC, Mac, PS3, Wii and so on… The volume control is a knob near the connections, close at hand. For power, it is possible to use the AC outlet, but also to take 4 AA batteries to move the chair easily.

In short, the BoomChair Stingray is a great gadget for gamer, not to expensive (83 €), the position and the speakers are ideal for playing hours. Obviously, you can choose higher models of gaming chairs that have a built-in subwoofer and a system of adjustable vibration as BoomChair Shark. ;)
