We already talked about the new Tokyoflash watch, the Kisai Online, the watch with a futuristic design, equipped with an accelerometer. We now have it in our hands, and this is an opportunity to test it!
First observation, the case as the bracelet are stainless steel. The Kisai Online watch is a bit heavy, but it’s rather pleasant. Looking at the screen, you see a strange series of lines that come alive on the LCD, and it is impossible to tell the time or date. And that is exactly what is required from a Tokyoflash! You must therefore know the “trick” to understand this watch…
The watch has two modes: the cryptic mode and the easy mode. After a few minutes, you will read the time easily on easy mode, and it will take a little more training to read the cryptic mode. This is where comes the accelerometer: simply lean the watch to you to change the display from cryptic to easy, and to lean it to the other way to return to cryptic mode. Personally, I like having a watch a bit “complicated” that arouses curiosity, and once used to, you read the time and date at a glance.
Only weak point, the backlight. The Kisai Online has a EL backlight a bit low compared to some models of the brand… Apart from that, it’s a very nice gadget for those who like original and futuristic watches!
