Today we tested the last watch from the Japanese brand Tokyoflash: the Kisai Stencil. The concept, proposed by Heather Sable on their concepts watches blog, has been a great success, which enabled it to be produced and marketed.
The Kisai Stencil is a gadget that has a large display, very original and easy to read (although, and this is the goal, it may seem confusing at first). The time is displayed all the time, and there is no need to press a button as on some models. The 4 digit time or date entirely fill the screen.
This watch is mounted in a sober stainless steel case, thinner than some other models, carried by a leather strap, with a pattern in the shape of the digit display. The finish is excellent as usual with Tokyoflash and the watch seems robust. The Stencil Kisai also has an alarm mode and is available in black or white, with a blue, green, red, pink or mirror display.
