SignAloud – These gloves can translate sign language into words

2016-05-10 // gadget popular tech

Two American students have imagined SignAloud, a pair of gloves that can translate sign language into words! This impressive gadget was designed by Thomas Pryor and Navid Azodi, from the University of Washington, who managed to capture the movements of the hands and fingers, to translate them into words spoken aloud by a speaker. With their SignAloud concept, the two students have won the Lemelson-MIT prize and a $10,000 award to develop their invention. Simply brilliant.
