We received this week the Dingoo A-380, a handheld console for the emulation and retro gaming! That’s a little test of this gadget for geeks and fans of retro-gaming…
Once out of the box, the Dingoo A380 is ready for use, the menus are in English and you only need to load some games and homebrew to start having fun. This handheld runs Dingoo Linux (Dingux) and has a TFT 3.2″ screen, an internal capacity of 4GB and a slot for micro SD. NES, SNES, Neo Geo, Game Boy, GBA, Megadrive, Master System, Mame, CSP emulators are already installed in the Dingoo A-380 and you only need to drop your roms to run the games. it’s funny to see that the Dingoo a-380 menu strangely resembles that of a PSP…
The Dingoo A-380 can also play videos (MOV, MP4, 3GP, AVI …), music (MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, ACC, APE, FLAC, M4a), but also the pdf and pictures. Most of the games tested on it runs well, sometimes just simply adjust the frames. The battery seems to have a good life. Also note that the Dingoo A-380 can be connected to a television, and can handle both wireless controllers (sold separately) to play with friends.
Dingoo The A380 comes with a USB cable (for transferring and charging), headphones and TV cable.
In short, this gadget is pretty well done, and has a fairly large community of enthusiasts who make homebrew and other customizations…
