A series of vintage illustrations that reveal you 30 ways to die of electrocution in the 1930s. As horrible as interesting and amusing, these images scanned by Bre Pettis are from the book Elektroschutz in 132 Bildern which was written in 1931 by Stefan Jellinek, an Austrian-British physician specialized in electrical accidents. In these illustrations, electrocution happens when the human body is the bridge between a power source and the ground, allowing the current to discharge, killing the unfortunate. Fortunately nowadays these accidents are much less frequent thanks to the safety of installations and earth wires…
