In Ghana, the dead are often buried in amazing customized coffins, shaped as airplane, fish, car, shoes or even mobile phone. This series of coffins, called Abebuu Adekai, was created by the carpenter Kane Kwei (1922-1992) and his assistant Paa Joe, but also by various artists including Eric Adjetey Anang, Daniel Mensah or Kudjoe Affutu.
