Portrait of one of the last Japanese sword smiths
The portrait of Korehira Watanabe, one of the last Japanese sword maker to work in accordance with the tradition of blacksmiths. He worked for 40 years to recreate the style of Japanese swords “Koto“, from Heian and Kamakura periods (between 794 and 1333 A.D).
