Creative work is hard to overestimate: it takes some pains to make the stuff for other people to appreciate; but often it takes more efforts for an author to create a piece, which he would like himself! Inspiration is the engine that helps achieve the desired result, but it is such a tricky thing, like a fastidious lady that comes and goes whenever she wants. Of course, men have some tricks to attract her and even make her stay!
