After The Dream is a striking new project by French photographer Philippe Echaroux, who projects the faces of Los Angeles residents on piles of garbage, collected by the artist on the streets of Los Angeles. Behind these beautiful and ethereal portraits hides a strong message, testifying about the ecological peril that strikes the whole planet, even in places of dreams like the City of Angels.
After The Dream is also a participatory action that aims to educate younger generations to respect the environment. To reduce the number of waste, Philippe Echaroux invites the young public to collect as much as possible, to create an artwork with collected garbage that can be painted, carved or glued. We already talked about the work of Philippe Echaroux with his previous projects like Ice Scream or Amazonia.
