Enduring Eye – Exploring Antarctica in 1914 through fascinating photos

2016-01-04 // photography

Enduring Eye brings together some fascinating pictures of an expedition to Antarctica, conducted in 1914 by Sir Ernest Shackleton and captured by photographer Frank Hurley. These images were digitized by the Royal Geographic Society (RGS) in London, which also offers a free exhibition dedicated to these photographs. Some amazing images that reflect the difficult conditions and the necessary boldness to such expedition, more than 100 years ago!
