The aquatic pin-ups of Bruce Mozert, pioneer of underwater photography in 1938!

A selection of the photographs of Bruce Mozert, one of the pioneers of underwater photography, who in 1938 had the idea to stage his models into amusing situations deep in the translucent waters of Silver Springs, Florida. Bruce Mozert was indeed one of the first to design a waterproof housing to protect his camera, while working on the techniques for proper underwater lighting. Simply brilliant! His photographs have been published in the book Silver Springs – The Underwater Photography of Bruce Mozert created by Gary Monroe.
