The strange self portraits of the Brazilian artist Edu Monteiro, who for his Autorretrato Sensorial series is having fun surrounding his head with various objects, including an octopus, cigarettes, bananas, stuffed animals, coal, sand or feathers. Altering his senses and his relationship to the outside world, Edu Monteiro explores our reliance on the five senses, hearing, vision, taste, smell and touch.
