For his Unknown Stories – The Eye of the Artist project, the Italian photographer Dan Bannino sought to recreate the daily life of the great famous painters, revealing the stories behind the masterpieces of painting. From Francisco de Goya to Vincent Van Gogh through Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Henri Matisse or Paul Cézanne, the photographer has recreated the sets and the moments surrounding the creation of the famous paintings, seen through the eyes of artists, using stories, anecdotes, objects and places corresponding to the artists and their times.
