A student creates powerful photo series against rape

For her series It Happens, the young student Yana Mazurkevich created a series of striking photos against rape, reminding that sexual assault can happen anywhere, anytime and with anyone . This powerful project by Yana Mazurkevich is a direct and revolted response to the release of Brock Turner, the American student convicted for only three months in prison for raping an unconscious girl on the American campus of Stanford. And as a reminder, I invite you to read Rape and Consent – Explaining the difference with 7 little comic strips.
