The Silent Line – Remains of an abandonned railroad in Paris captured by photographer Pierre Folk

2014-08-26 // photography

The stunning series “By the silent line” of French photographer Pierre Folk, who documents since 2011 the remains of the famous abandoned train line in Paris: La Petite Ceinture. Some beautiful urbex photographs, contemplative and full of nostalgia, that capture with talent the remains of this iconic railroad, now abandoned for over 80 years…

UPDATE: Just to clarify, the line is not completely abandoned but “unused”. Indeed, it is regularly maintained by the owner who is RFF.
