A 65-year-old photographer recreates masterpieces of painting as self-portraits

With her project entitled Stages, the American photographer Laura Hofstadter, 65 years old, is having fun recreating masterpieces of classical painting with an excellent series of self-portraits. Laura Hofstadter, who notes sadly that the more we get older, the more we become invisible to society, decided to draw attention by reproducing famous images, from Vermeer to Picasso through Magritte or Botticelli.
