Surfrider Foundation 2011 Pin-Up Calendar

Like last year, the Surfrider Foundation has released its calendar, version of 2011 (here for the 2011 Surfrider Pin-Up calendar). Obviously, the aim being to raise awareness about the pollution problem, especially around the seas and oceans, the Surfrider Pin-up calendar of the is a bit… special: beautiful surfer girls covered with oil and other residues of petroleum due to the numerous illegal discharges… Brilliant.

    Not impressed.  The girls are beautiful.  The photography is excellent.  But the ‘shopped oil smears on their bodies are shoddy and unconvincing.
    Truly embarrassing work.

    Can you upload one pic of your own using this technique? :p Either way, still like the idea behind it ;) and they should’ve used real crude oil… so much more fun afterwards :d (if they didn’t already because I am still doubting here…)

    it looks great on some pics (which are all beautiful)

    but the oil is indeed shopped (I’d say June and may are the most obvious (juin / mai).
    yet, probably doesn’t this show to a less trained eye, so it achieves its goal quite well!

    what do you need her name for if you didn’t take a good look a the pics?

    What kind of oil would form a perfectly sculpted bikini? Of course it’s photoshopped. I think you’ve missed the point.
