Idea of movement – The light and aerial photographs of Lois Greenfield

2015-10-12 // art photography

The talented photographer Lois Greenfield has refined her technique and her eye throughout her career, capturing with strength and delicacy the movement in all its grace. For 35 years, she photographs dancers and models in light and aerial compositions without artifice, fixing on film these beautiful moments frozen in time. No digital retouching here, but some elaborate staging, capturing the perfect moment of bodies suspended in space. The book entitled Lois Greenfield: Moving Still, that pays tribute to the work of the photographer, will be available from November 17, 2015.
