Lost Angels – Poignant portraits to pay tribute to the homeless people

2015-11-05 // photography popular

With his Lost Angels series, the American photographer Lee Jeffries wanted to pay tribute to the homeless, offering a new face to these people too easily forgotten by our society. To create his photographs, the photographer decided to live in different communities of homeless people for several weeks, in order to actually understand the living conditions that the poor have to face, but especially to break this notion of voyeur photographer and models. More than just portraits, the photographs of Lee Jeffries are testimonies of the people he met and the moments he lived. A poignant and powerful series in line with the Underexposed project.
