Watch every crater on the moon with this 100-megapixel photo!

Observing the Moon with an incredible 100-megapixel photograph, to zoom in on every crater, that’s what NASA offers today! This impressive image was created by Sean Doran, chief photo engineer at NASA, who compiled hundreds of images of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to create this 10,000 x 10,000 pixels photo of the Moon.

To observe the Moon in every detail, visit the GigaPan website, which allows you to walk around and zoom in the picture. You’ll also find this 100-megapixel photo of the Moon on the Flickr account of Sean Doran.
