For this new moodboard, I invite you to discover the pictures of the photographer Sonia Szóstak, who leads us to the Philippines for the projet Disconnect by Fotolia! Accompanied by the director Pavlé Savic, the young Polish photographer discovered a country where the wonders of nature stand alongside extreme poverty, but especially the kindness and hospitality of its inhabitants. Through her photographs, she honors an environmentally responsible local tourism project called TAO Philippines, which lets explore the country in contact with its people and in the respect of the customs of the archipelago. The revenues generated are then invested in the community, for example to help build schools.
The projet Disconnect sends an invitation to travel by following three renowned photographers in three countries with different cultures and ways of life: the Philippines, Namibia and Iceland. You can discover the Disconnect project and the 60 photos and videos of Sonia Szóstak and Pavlé Savic directly in the Fotolia collections.
