To echo the article published by Adobe about the visual trends of 2017, this new episode of our moodbard series looks at storytelling, or when usefulness outweighs aesthetics. If today anyone is capable of producing beautiful images, telling a strong story and understanding the narrative and emotional value of a picture remains a challenge.

A photograph must not just be beautiful, aesthetic, but it must make sense, carry a message, contain a truth. Pollution, global warming, generations shock but also sharing, hope or activism, I propose you a selection of images perfectly illustrating the principle of storytelling.
