Stone Footprints – The stone art of Iain Blake

The “Stone Footprints” series of photographer Iain Blake, beautiful, simple and cute land art made ??with round pebbles found on the beach. A series of photographs which is childish and naive that makes you smile…

This is fucking stupid. Any asshole can go to a lake and take similar pics. Ohhhh!!!! Super creative and skillful!! I can literally walk out my cabin and take a similar pic in 5 minutes. Its not like there is contrast, setting or anything.

it made me smile ! I love it !!

Actually, if you paid attention, you’d see that the composition is highly deliberate and thought out. Notice how he used certain color palettes according to stones and background. Also, have you ever thought of forming stones into feet then arranging them in an aesthetically and geometrically pleasing pattern? No? Mkay. There’s your creativity. PS. Internet trolling for laughs is about as pathetic as a midlife crisis.

I love these! Don’t listen to all those haters! They don’t know what they’re talking about!

I think that was great! It’s like stepping stones in progression, a progress of little step’s!  What a wonderful idea!

I’ve stumbled across these images far too many times and honestly, they’re too much stock-photography for me.

Thanks for posting. Very creative idea- using very simple everyday elements . The critics who have posted should try to go out and try creating new ideas themselves instead of claiming their superiority they have not proven. I’d be very interested in seeing their posted results- since they are so sure of themselves.
