Swimming with Sharks – Underwater portraits created without digital retouching

2016-01-19 // photography popular

A new amazing project by photographer Benjamin Von Wong, who we have already talked about with his amazing surreal portraits in a thunderstorm. For this new series created without digital retouching, the photographer led his model, apnea champion Amber Bourke, in the waters of Fiji to stage her as a shepherdess surrounded by sharks. The model, the photographer and his team waited for more than six hours under water, spread over three days, to wait until the position of sharks allows them to capture the perfect image. A great performance!
