You are what you throw away – A photography project by Zinkie Aw
The things we throw say a lot about who we are. “Republic of Pulau Semakau” is a photography project of Zinkie Aw that associates each person to the waste he produces. The name “Republic of Pulau Semakau” comes from the name of an island of Singapore which was transformed into a landfill site, to help fight against the problem of waste management in the crowded city of Singapore .
