The E-ink screen is also perfect to avoid draining your battery… After successfully completing its funding on Indiegogo, the “Popslate” iphone case is now available for pre-order for $119. I’m curious to see it work in real life.

Giving life to cult movies with an iPhone

With his series “Réalité revisitée” (Reality Revisited), photographer François Dourlen used an iPhone and a camera to put into reality scenes from cults movies like Back to the Future, Titanic or Lord of the Rings. But he also used the same method for the series entitled “Réalité diminuée” replacing old photographs of Cherbourg in their current context. In the same genre, I also recommend “51 pictures of movies replaced in reality” but also “Abandoned school in Detroit – Then and Now, 31 Photographs from the past meet the present“.
