The Microsoft’s marketing adapts depending on the country concerned, and what better way to attack Japan than the manga! In addition to launching a special version of Windows 8 in Japan called “Windows Azure“, Microsoft has girly mascots, the “Cloud Girls” personifying the OS. Here is the manga girls, Nanami Madobe, representative of Windows 7, and her new sister, Claudia Madobe, representative of Windows 8 and Windows Azure (she even has a Twitter account!). You can even found technical documents illustrated as manga (here or here for example) on the Microsoft Japan site, but know that there is even a cartoon featuring Nanami Madobe and Windows 7! I miss Japan…
