Archifon – Turn a church into a giant interactive musical art installation

Archifon” is a giant interactive musical art installation housed in the Baroque Chapel of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. Created by Tomaš Dvo?ák, aka Floex, et Dan Gregor, aka Initi, the “Archifon” project can transform the interior of the chapel in virtual musical instrument triggered by lasers. It allows up to 10 visitors at one time to produce sounds, simply by pointing to “areas” with a laser. Each of the “areas” can be illuminated through the 3D mapping of the church, at the same time as a sound is produced.
